DecoExchange Helps Facilitate Christmas for Local Charity

December 17 20:24 2020

Chalmette, LA, USA – December 17, 2020 – DecoExchange stepped up to raise all of the needed donations for “Strengthening Outcomes with Autism Resources (SOAR).” Due to the pandemic, many local small businesses have been unable to host fundraisers to make their annual donations to charitable organizations. For Damon Oates, CEO of DecoExchange, Christmas has particular importance in helping others.

Because each family has its own traditions and its own ways of celebrating, it is meaningful to Oates and his company to give back to his community and help others observe the holidays. In October, DecoExchange hosted the Mantle Madness Challenge to raise money for the Christmas Blessing Project. The challenge was a two-day event in which four designers inspired and showed participants how they could decorate effectively for the holidays. Taking their passion for Christmas and DecoExchange uses it to make a difference in other’s lives. Oates believes that “we can’t change the world, but we can change one person’s world. Every act of kindness impacts someone.” In the future, DecoExchange will continue to spread holiday cheer and the spirit of Christmas throughout the year and around the world.

Christmas is a time of year when everyone could use some extra support, especially those with disabilities SOAR is a foundation that helps provide services and resources to children and adults with autism. They work to enhance those with autism’s lives to reach beyond perceived limitations by providing them with the help and support they need to thrive. Throughout the holidays, SOAR holds various events for children affected by autism. For SOAR, the Christmas Blessing Project and Deco Exchange donations help make Christmas a little more special.
